If you would like to register your group, organization or entity with the BlueRibbonTaskForce.com web site, please complete our
Organization Membership Form. The information you provide will be indexed and placed on our "Resources" and "Get Involved" pages. The information will also become part of our searchable database that will allow individuals to quickly and efficiently locate resources by key words. So please take a moment to provide us with a detailed abstract about your organization.
If you are an individual who would like to become a member of the Blue Ribbon Task Force we ask that you also register with us by completing the
Individual Membership Form. This way we can keep you update on upcoming events and issues in the Bexar County community. We also ask that you provide us with any specific issues you may be interested in or areas you would specifically like to help. Please provide us with some of your background, education, or experiences so we can help pair your skill set with our many community needs.

The following is a short compilation of various statistics which outline some of the challenges children and families are facing here in Texas.
2-1-1

Faced with a dramatic increase in the number
of agencies and help-lines, people often don't know where to turn.
2-1-1 is an easy to remember telephone number that, where available,
connects people with important community services and volunteer opportunities.
The implementation of 2-1-1 is being spearheaded by United Ways and
comprehensive and specialized information and referral agencies in
states and local communities.
Please
join our efforts to obtain critical federal funds for your community.
We encourage you to contact your Senators and Representatives to urge
co-sponsorship of the
Calling for 2-1-1 Act. The legislation will provide
federal money to states starting or enhancing a 2-1-1 system.
Encourage your congressional representatives to pass The Calling for 2-1-1 Act by Calling 1-888-PASS-211. You can also read about recently introduced
